How to support Boonie Babies through Boonie Tails

This newsletter began because we want to expand our audience grow as a brand. You’ve already helped Boonie Babies by reading and sharing our stories. In addition to spreading our message, subscribing to Boonie Tails also helps us earn money so we can keep saving the boonies.

People often ask us how they can support Boonie Babies regularly. As we’ve said in the past, even the smallest donations add up and make a huge difference to us. One easy way to help Boonie Babies is by pledging just $5 per month when you upgrade to be a premium subscriber to this newsletter!

There are a few ways that you can help us even more, like asking your friends and family to subscribe too—if you use the link below under “Upcoming Rewards” to get 3 friends to subscribe, you’ll get a discount on our new merch!—or clicking on the ads in each newsletter edition, which gives money directly to us without you having to pay anything yourself.

Thank you for continuing to care about the boonies of Saipan.

Love,

Grace, Aria, & the Boonie Babies team 🐾

Boonie of the Week

No longer a naked mole rat, Lottie is one of the most energetic (and furry) boonies we have.

Meet Lottie Lou!

When Lottie was found with her brother Scar, she looked more like a naked mole rat than an abandoned puppy. Lottie eventually earned permanent residency with Boonie Babies. As with all rescues, keeping her was never the goal. But with adoption rates so low and Lottie being a tan girl (we have found that adopting out tan female boonies is the most unlikely), Grace ended up adopting her in 2022.

Lottie enjoys any activity with her mom and sisters, Nellie and Tequila—her favorite being when she gets to come in at night and sleep in the bed.

She takes a bit to warm up to strangers, but once she deems you safe she is quite the lovebug and will be the first one waiting to greet you at the gate with her endearing boonie wiggles and squeaks.

With all the love rescues have to give, we could never understand how someone can say no to these faces. We are so grateful that Lottie Lou is one of the lucky ones and that we get to watch her—a dog left to die—experience the joys of a full life.
