Boonie of the Week

Meet Radar!

Meet my new foster cat Radar! In the words of his rescuer:

“Meet Radar — a striking young brown tabby with a magnetic personality and a heart that’s all about his people. Radar is the kind of cat who makes a house feel alive. He’s incredibly friendly, endlessly playful, and genuinely loves being around his humans.

Whether you’re moving around the house or settling in for the evening, Radar wants to be part of it—your shadow, your sidekick, your cheerful little “assistant.” He’s at his most entertaining in the mornings, when he bursts into joyful zoomies and turns your home into his personal playground. His playful, goofy energy is guaranteed to make you laugh, and his curiosity means he’ll happily “help” with anything you’re doing—laundry, work, cooking… nothing escapes Radar’s interest. While he’s not a full-time lap cat, Radar is deeply people-oriented. He’ll choose being near you every time—curling up beside you, checking in on you, and making sure you never feel alone.”

One of the many photos of Radar sent to me by my husband, James

Although Radar was not a big fan of the three Boonie dogs at first, he has now come to terms with them and all are peacefully co-existing. Radar already has some adoption interest so if all goes well, he will be heading to his forever home soon! Help save lives and reach out to your local rescues or shelters to learn how to get involved with fostering or other ways you can help. No matter where you are, there are always animals and organizations who need your support!
