Our main financial goal here at Boonie Babies is to no longer solely rely on donations and instead create various sources of revenue to support ourselves and the rescue. Although the support we have received with only donations has been incredible and gotten us far, the fact of the matter is that it’s not sustainable.

A new, easy way that you can help us in our “influencer era” at no extra cost to you is by purchasing your everyday dog essentials from our Amazon Affiliate Storefront. All products listed have been tested and approved by Boonie Babies! Next time you need dog food, treats, hair care products, supplement recommendations, toys, and more, make sure to checkout our storefront filled with Boonie approved basics. Using affiliate links add no extra cost to your purchase and will take you to the same products you know and love, we just get a kick back for getting you there. Have a product you routinely purchase from Amazon? DM us the link on Instagram or send us an email ([email protected]) and we will send you our affiliate link to that product.

Story Submitted By Emily Boyd

Remi with his person, Emily

Meet Remi!

Remi (formerly “Alien”) may be the smallest adult “Boonie” you’ll ever see, at a whopping 3 pounds! He was surrendered to Boonie Babies along with his parents and siblings in April. Remi is still learning how to be a dog, as he didn’t spend any time outside of a crate shared with 5 other dogs for the first 1.5 years of his life. Lately, though, he enjoys pup cups, walks (or I should say being carried on walks), riding in the car, and most of all, cuddling! Despite how humans have failed him in the past, he still loves to love and has the sweetest personality. If all goes to plan, Remi will be making his way to the mountains of West Virginia very soon! Until then, he is still soaking up the island sun and fun.

Remi is the product of backyard breeding on Saipan. He and his family were living in horrible conditions were their mental and physical health were not a concern. We are so happy to see Remi learning what it’s like to be loved as he has stolen Emily’s heart.

Emily is visiting Saipan for the summer and reached out to Boonie Babies at the beginning of her trip. Although we’re sure she didn’t know what she was getting into, she has since become a Boonie Babies super volunteer, always there to help whenever needed. Thank you for your time and dedication spent helping these animals.
